-Your body is your temple; build it one PEACE at a time-

Yoga and Meditation with Cindy Ross

For over 25 years, I have had the privilege of teaching yoga and meditation across the Caribbean, helping people reconnect to themselves through mindful movement, breathwork, and inner stillness. My passion lies in creating a space where healing happens naturally — where the body can soften, the mind can quiet, and the heart can open.

At Orange Beach Fitness, I offer a range of personalized sessions designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you are seeking gentle physical restoration or deeper emotional renewal, my offerings include:

  • Restorative Yoga – Slow, supportive postures to release tension and encourage deep healing.

  • Private 1:1 Stretch Sessions – Tailored flexibility and mobility sessions to nurture your body safely and effectively.

  • Guided Meditation – Learn techniques to calm the mind, increase presence, and foster resilience.

  • Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) – A deeply relaxing guided meditation technique that promotes profound physical and mental restoration.

  • Vipassana-Based Mindfulness – Training in insight meditation to cultivate self-awareness, emotional clarity, and inner peace.

Each session is thoughtfully designed to support stress relief, flexibility, better sleep, emotional balance, and overall wellness. Whether you are new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, my goal is to help you experience more freedom, both in your body and in your life.

Private sessions are now available in Orange Beach.

What to Expect

Yoga is often called the “fountain of youth” — and for good reason. Clinical research continues to show that yoga slows the aging process by improving circulation, preserving flexibility, calming the nervous system, and promoting overall vitality. But beyond the physical, yoga offers something even more powerful: a deeper sense of well-being, balance, and resilience that extends far beyond the mat.

When you begin your practice, it’s important to remember that yoga is not a quick fix. It’s a journey of self-discovery and healing that rewards patience, dedication, and an open heart. With consistent practice — ideally three times a week for at least two weeks — you may start to notice subtle but meaningful changes: a release of deep-seated tension, better sleep, less stress, and a more centered, peaceful mind.

Each session with me is thoughtfully designed to help you transition gently from the busyness of life into a quieter, more connected state. We'll start by grounding ourselves—whether it’s through a breathing exercise, a brief meditation, or simply sitting quietly and arriving fully into the present moment. These first few serene moments are crucial; they allow your mind to shift gears and prepare for the restorative work ahead.

You'll also be encouraged to set an intention at the beginning of each session — a personal affirmation, a goal, or even a simple wish for yourself, such as becoming more patient, finding inner strength, or letting go of daily worries. This intention becomes a gentle anchor for your mind and heart during your practice.

No matter your level of experience or flexibility, you are welcome here. Every class is an invitation to honor your body, to listen inward, and to cultivate a sense of calm strength that you can carry into the rest of your life. Yoga is not about achieving perfection — it's about finding joy and freedom in your own journey.
